A waterdriven mechanical scupture that functions as a display for chaotic streams - in cooperation with Prof. Marc Hütt and Prof. Katja Windt for the new Fluctuations Research Lab at Jacobs University Bremen.

Lorenz-Waterwheel

The Lorenz-Waterwheel turns regular influx (of water) into chaotic output.

From the buckets water flows at different points into a network of tubes, where it triggers small bi-coloured waterwheels - thus displying chaotic streams and patterns.
