Surrounded
by the collection´s more than 850 antique casts - among them Cleopatra,
Sokrates and Aphrodite - hover net-imprints, taken from natural and artificial
bodies. Since
antiquity, string has been used to take measurements: The building site for the
pyramids was measured with ropes. Still today, tailors may use a piece of string
with a few knots to conserve their customer´s measurements. Modern design
starts with a grid drawing. |
